Professional Advisors Series
The Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven partners with the region’s two other community foundations to offer a three-part Professional Advisors Series each year, providing attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, and other professional advisors with opportunities to learn, connect, and stay current on charitable planning strategies.
The series includes:
- Spring Webinar: A timely educational program focused on issues and trends relevant to professional advisors and their clients.
- Summer Networking Event: An informal, in-person event for professional advisors to build relationships and connect with colleagues from across the region.
- Fall CEU Program: Partnering with industry experts, this year-end semimar focuses on tax-smart charitable giving strategies and offers continuing education for eligible professionals.
Past topics have included: Best Year-End Moves for Tax Pros and Financial Advisors; Research Meets Practice: Advisors, Clients & DAFs; Offering Charitable Giving Services; and Solving Your Client’s Retirement Asset Concerns with Charitable Giving.
This series provides advisors with practical information they can use with clients, while creating opportunities to build relationships and deepen their understanding of charitable giving, donor-advised funds, estate planning, and other philanthropic strategies.
