The Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven is proud to bring together Community Partners and Experts and provide unique educational opportunities for professional advisors, attorneys, accountants, and other financial planners. Our seminars provide continuing education credits and cover timely topics that are important to you and your clients.

In the next five years, an estimated $5T is expected to transfer to heirs, including significant retirement assets. This webinar will provide you with options within the SECURE Act 1.0 & 2.0 for your charitably-inclined clients who are grappling with managing retirement assets in their lifetime and beyond. We’ll discuss:

• Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) from IRA accounts – the basics, rules, tax implications and using a QCD for a gift that provides income.
• Testamentary charitable giving tools that allow non-spousal beneficiaries to receive IRA proceeds over a lifetime instead of 10 years.
• Relevant provisions of the SECURE Acts pertaining to charitable giving.
