Emma Kohn Podoloff Scholarship Fund of the National Council of Jewish Women
The Emma Kohn Podoloff Scholarship Fund of the National Council of Jewish Women’s Greater New Haven Chapter at the Jewish Foundation sponsors scholarships to advance the scholastic and vocational education of Jewish high school seniors. An academic average of “B” or better and verified financial need qualifies a student to be considered. Awards average $1,500.

Stuart J. Drell
Scholarship Fund
The Stuart J. Drell Scholarship Fund was established in 2001 at Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains, NJ. When Renee Drell relocated to Connecticut, she transferred the fund to the Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven and it now awards scholarships to high school seniors headed off to college and college students entering their sophomore, junior and senior year.

Mary Taylor Friedler Memorial Scholarship for High School Seniors
Mary Taylor Friedler Memorial Scholarship Fund established in 1991 with an initial gift from Saul Friedler in memory of his wife to provide a college scholarship to a Jewish high school senior from Greater New Haven. The scholarship is not needs-based and requires an essay concerning what peace, justice and righteousness mean to you and your Judaism. Awards average $1,000.
